"Resurrection Mary" is the first single from the 'Days Amidst the Dust' album. With a deceptively narrative lyric and hyper-catchy harmonies, it has been aptly described as a melodic kick-ass love song to Chicago's infamous ghost. The album version is paired with previously unreleased b-side "Almost Halfway Home" and a solo acoustic version of the lead track.
The oft-told tale of Chicago's famous ghost rang in my head like a bell since it was first whispered in my ear. The song "Resurrection Mary" was written a hundred times in my head before I committed it to tape and paper.
Have I seen her? Listen to the song.....you tell me.
